The next morning we got up rather early so we could get started on a rather long day ahead. I was the first one up so I headed out to see the place in the daylight again and to see if the housing office had cleaned up the house while we were gone.

I took it a bit slow getting on the interstate so we wouldn't get separated right off the bat. After we both pulled into traffic I keyed the mic to make sure she was reading me and after she replied that she was we got down to the business of driving.

The next morning my wife woke up early. She wanted to make sure we'd get to the Vehicle center as close to opening time as possible. Personally I think she was ready to get to our new home and get off the road.

By the time we'd left Virginia behind we had gotten back into our routine once more. The older kids were still bummed that we had to leave granny but they understood, sort of.
