Finding RV Rentals

There isn't any more comfortable way heading down the road than a spacious RV, that's why you see so many of them heading down the road. However, buying one for yourself can be very expensive, and may not be practical if you rarely travel. You might enjoy an RV rental for your travels down the highways and byways.

Renting an RV is the one of the best ways to add comfort and convenience to an occasional cross-country trip or yearly vacation. You don't even have to worry about the task of maintenance and repairs of the RV; your only costs concern the rental and the fuel. Not only do you get all the conveniences, but when you're done with your trip, you return it to them, and you're done, no winterizing, no maintenance, and no upkeep

You'll find a wide assortment of different types of RVs to rent from large motor homes, to travel trailers you would pull behind and all in a variety of different areas as well. Look at your yellow pages, on your Internet, and in your classifieds circulars to find a place near you that rents RVs.

Then start looking at the RVs that are available for rent, and check all of the different prices that may be available at the different dealerships. You might be surprised what type of deal you get for off-season rentals; peak season might be a little more expensive, so reserve your RV early if you're planning your vacation or trip during peak travel times.

According to the rental facility, you might offer them a lower rate if you're not traveling far. This is because they won't have major mechanical upkeep when you're done with your trip, just clean, basic maintenance, and it's ready to rent again.

If you cannot find a rental unit close to your home, check where you're going to be spending most of your time. You can actually drive your car to where the rental area is even if it's several hours away and then rent it there for the rest of your trip.

Your best bet for getting the rental RV that you want for your trip is to rent early. Make a reservation with the rental company, explain to them exactly what you're looking for, and if they don't already have it because they have reservations on the book, perhaps they'll purchase the one you want. You might be surprised how inexpensive it is as well as how fun it is to have all the modern conveniences of home while you travel

There are a lot of benefits to renting an RV instead of owning, of course, one of the main benefits is the try before you buy option. Try renting an RV, see how you enjoy your trip, and then perhaps start looking for one to purchase. If you only travel once or twice a year, renting might be an easier option than taking care of your own RV. Look to those rental agencies that are already in your area or are in the destination you're traveling to and then enjoy your vacation with all the modern conveniences of home.

Camping Trip from Hell? pt 52

The next morning we got up rather early so we could get started on a rather long day ahead. I was the first one up so I headed out to see the place in the daylight again and to see if the housing office had cleaned up the house while we were gone.

I took it a bit slow getting on the interstate so we wouldn't get separated right off the bat. After we both pulled into traffic I keyed the mic to make sure she was reading me and after she replied that she was we got down to the business of driving.

The next morning my wife woke up early. She wanted to make sure we'd get to the Vehicle center as close to opening time as possible. Personally I think she was ready to get to our new home and get off the road.
